I don't subscribe to the entire flat earth theory, or do I? Who knows, but this video certainly raises some good questions. If there are so many satellites in space, how the heck does the ISS avoid them? One would think satellites make ISS missions impossible, or incredibly dangerous. Check out the video for more details.
The image above is an estimated number of Satellites orbiting space. Commander Scott Kelly could care less, because he is donning his space rover, and taking a flight. Nothing stops the brave souls of NASA.
See it, up in the top right corner!? A real-live space craft, as photographed by ISS, while flying over the Nile!
Check out space debris images by NASA and Daily Mail.
The second image are REAL estimates, claiming each object is a piece of space junk. Never mind satellites, space debris flying as fast as a speeding bullet is your worst enemy in the dangerous cosmos beyond earth. Of course, that was before Sling-Slat, designed by the good folks at Texas A&M University.
The video above is from SDO, a solar imager, designed by NASA. I have a hard time believing this one. Supposedly this is Mercury crossing the sun. What strikes me as standing out is the sheer amount of differences in the clips. Not only this, it seems like some kind of digital re-creation, with Mercury flying only inches from the planet's 3D surface.
At 1:31 I like to crack up. Looks like an epic scene from sci-fi.
SELENE lunar orbiter, contracted by
Mitsubishi, is said to have orbited the moon after a launch by JAXA (The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.)
The satellite, likely named after Selene, goddess of the moon, orbits the moon with a few key pieces of equipment.
Terrain Camera (TC)
Multi-band Imager (MI)
High Definition Television Cameras (HDTV)
Terrain Camera -Returns data for creating digital maps.
Multi-band Imager - A normal camera with near infrared. Great for dark environments.
High Definition Television cameras - A high definition television camera.
So why bother with the post? I came along a live video, streaming old content, which included images from SELENE
I wondered why the video looked fake. It looked massively 3D. The depth seems all off, there are unexplainable creases in the moon when the earth rises, there is a gloss on the moon, which can be seen in other improperly lit/shaded 3D models, and the earth itself looked like a 3D sphere modelled with software such as Maya.
I wondered, how could this be? Maybe it IS a 3D model. Farther research brought me to a video by JAXA themselves that claims the footage was taken with a telophoto lense.
"The most notable was a high-definition television (HDTV) camera with wide-angle and telephoto lenses and 2.2-megapixel imagers."
It's ON the high definition camera.
These fake looking, in-proper depthed surface videos, that look 3D, with a perfect sphere globe, all glossy and shiny, were taken by a high definition, regular camera?
To Red Sticker Blog, that seems like a load of garbage.
